Located in the heart of the Levant, the biblical land of Israel is also the cradle of wine production, with a winemaking tradition that dates back for millennia. The Mediterranean climate suits the vine well here, although water can be scarce.

In the 1980s, the Israeli wine industry opened a new chapter with a greater emphasis on quality - particularly in the cooler regions of the Golan Heights and the Upper Galilee. There has been an influx of international expertise and the number of boutique wineries has risen significantly, with a reputation for a wide range of international varieties.

Today, the United States is the largest export market for Israeli wines and Winebow feels privileged to be working with some of the most respected and famous estates in this category.
