High Note’s state-of-the-art winery is located high in the Andean foothills. Its vineyards are among the highest in the world, ranging from 3,300 to 5,000 feet in altitude. Intense desert sunlight, very cool nighttime temperatures, an extended growing season, and dry sandy soils provide the fruit with concentrated flavors and luxurious tannins.
The Revolutionary Spirit of Argentina
High Note Malbec is inspired by the passion and energy of its Argentine roots. It honors the music that represents Argentina’s vibrant and lively culture.

About High Note

High Note Vineyards
The grapes for High Note wines are sourced from five vineyards with sandy loam soils, ranging in elevation 3,300 – 5,000 feet above sea level:
- Gualtallary: the highest altitude, brings deep purple color with floral and fruit notes
- Vista Flores: contributes flavors of spice, red fruits and minerality
- La Consulta: adds black fruit and mid-palate weight
- Altamira: brings notes of violets to the aroma
- Eugenio Bustos: offers racy acidity and floral notes

The Winemaker
Head Winemaker Leopoldo Kuschnaroff possesses a deep understanding of agriculture and an appreciation of Argentina’s confluence of mingling cultures. He experiments with the different microclimates of the Uco Valley, perfecting wine that reflects the terroir.
