Laurent-Perrier’s pièce de resistance is their prestige cuvée, Grand Siècle. This unique wine showcases the art of assemblage as it is always a blend of three different Laurent-Perrier declared vintages with the goal to "recreate the perfect year," one better than nature on its own could provide. With Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier focuses on iterations rather than individual years. Grand Siècle is made with 100% Grand Cru majority Chardonnay that is complemented with Pinot Noir, and aged for a minimum of 10 years. Each iteration requires patience, time, and skill prior to release.
In 2023, Laurent-Perrier released Grand Siècle Iteration No. 26, a blend of vintage years 2012, 2008, and 2007, and comprised of 58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir. Grand Siècle Iteration No. 26 has been praised by consumers and critics alike—Wine Enthusiast's Roger Voss awarded this wine 97/100 points and #6 on the publication's 2023 Top Cellar Selections list, and James Suckling of JamesSuckling.com scored this wine 100/100 points and named it the 2023 Wine of the Year out of the almost 39,000 wines reviewed by the publication.
Due to its difference in conception, it took time for Grand Siècle to be considered as one of the very best champagnes in the world. After many decades, Grand Siècle has finally obtained this recognition and is now considered a benchmark within premium champagne. As of September 2023, Laurent-Perrier has partnered with the highly regarded Morgan Freeman to serve as the face of Grand Siècle through the ad campaign, “It takes time to become an icon.”
It is a sensational-quality bottle showing incredible texture, depth and complexity. Its great structure will keep it fresh and vivid for a very long time, yet it is equally energetic and intense, highlighting its beauty now. Champagne producers have always said that their bottles are first great wines and then great Champagnes, and this is certainly the case with the Grand Siècle Grande Cuvée N.26.

For over 200 years, Champagne Laurent-Perrier has been exclusively focused on crafting fresh and elegant champagne. Nestled in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, the House is family- and female-run, fiercely independent, and continues to set the precedent for fine champagne around the world.
The House was founded in 1812 by a champagne merchant and eventually passed down to his cellar master, Eugene Laurent, and his wife, Mathilde-Émilie Perrier. In 1887, Eugene died in an accident in the cellars and instead of selling the House that she inherited, Mathilde-Émilie decided to take the reins, and the House flourished under her leadership. This was unexpected and unusual at that time for a woman to fully manage a House.
When Mathilde-Émilie passed away in 1925, she left the house to her daughter, Eugenie, who ran Laurent-Perrier until 1939 when she decided to sell it to another woman, Marie Louise Lanson de Nonancourt. Her son, Bernard, led the House for over half a century. Today, his daughters, Stephanie and Alexandra, are co-CEOs, and his granddaughter, Lucie, works on Laurent-Perrier’s Grand Siècle team reporting to their chef de caves.
Under the historic domaine and winery in the heart of France’s renowned Champagne region, stretch over 11 kilometers of chalk cellars. Every bottle of Laurent-Perrier spends years in these cellars developing their complex flavors and fine bubbles.
All Laurent-Perrier champagnes are fermented in stainless steel tanks to best preserve the aromas and the flavors of the high-quality grapes used to make the champagne. Laurent-Perrier is a Chardonnay-centric House and sources fruit from the best Grand Crus and Premier Crus stretched across the Champagne region. The House is also dedicated to sustainable viticulture and winemaking and is proud to hold two rigorous certifications in sustainability including both the HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Sustainability in Champagne).
Laurent-Perrier’s range includes many champagne innovations such as being the first producer to introduce stainless steel fermentation tanks to the region in the 1970s, the resurrection of the non-dosage champagne category with the launch of Ultra Brut in 1981, and sparking the revival of non-vintage rosé champagne category in 1968.
Within the range of eight different cuvées, La Cuvée, the House’s flagship brut non-vintage, is a blend of 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 10% Meunier, and is aged for four years resulting in fine bubbles and a delicate, fresh nose. In turn, Cuvée Rosé, the world’s most recognized luxury rosé champagne, features 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir that undergoes a proprietary 48- to 72-hour cold maceration technique with the goal of achieving the House’s specific oenological profile that includes a highly expressive bouquet of fresh fruit notes that are present with every sip.
