Wine Description

The Mendoza Province is Argentina's most important winemaking region.  Withing the Mendoza appellation there are distince sub-appellations.  Through extrodinary diversity in soil quality, altitude and climate, mendoza's sub appellations/IGs are essential in defining the terroir of Argentine wine.  Wines labeled from a particular appellation/IG must be sources 100% from vineyards in the specific IG

Acclaim
“Bright red-ruby. Ripe, classic aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco leaf, licorice and fresh herbs are a bit less extravagant and perfumed than the Cabernet Franc. Densely packed and wonderfully smooth, showing a sexy savory character to the flavors of currant, tobacco, spices and herbs. Serious, dry, classic and laid-back; and not showing quite the early sweetness of the San Carlos Cabernet Franc. Finishes with lovely lingering berry fruit. Finishes quite firm but without any tannic dryness.”
