Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC bottle image

Wine Description

Made from 100% Chardonnay from southern Alto Adige. After a gentle pressing, the must is clarified by natural sedimentation and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Refined for five months in stainless steel, this is a fresh and flowery Chardonnay.

Acclaim
The 2003 Chardonnay is a tank-fermented and aged offering revealing abundant amounts of lemon zest, tropical fruit, and a steely minerality in the background. It is good to see such a lively, fresh, non-wooded white emerge from northeastern Italy.
