Wine Description

Grown in the warm Andes foothills of the Colchagua valley, CA1 is a Carmenere of great character and power. This is a rich wine, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit. The round tannins, together with the lush concentration of fruit on the palate reveals to us the best expression of Carmenere grown at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

“For this CA 1, TerraNoble turns to its vineyards in Los Lingues near the Andean foothills in the Colchagua Alto area. 70% was aged in used barrels and 30% in foudres. The herbal notes of the carmenere are clearly evident here, but it also has lots of very fresh and vibrant red fruit in a juicy body with very good acidity and tannins. A wine to think about the new life of carmenere, a life out of the closet and with no embarrasment about its herbal aromas.”
