Librandi Gravello

Gravello Val di Neto Rosso IGT bottle image

Wine Description

This is a "Super Calabrian" wine! An unprecedented blend of 60% Gaglioppo, a key indigenous variety, and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for a total of three years, of which one is spent entirely in Allier barriques. Cabernet Sauvignon blends beautifully with Gaglioppo without dominating the native variety's unique characteristics.

Acclaim
Prestige - New oak in the forefront yielding to red and blackberry aromas, with notes of apple skins and dried fruits. Rich and rounded, with nice tannins in the middle...
