Tiefenbrunner Linticlarus Lagrein Riserva

Linticlarus Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige DOC bottle image

Wine Description

The Linticlarus Selection includes the premium wines of the Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof Estate Winery, which are produced only in exceptional vintages. The name “Linticlarus” is taken from the name of the former Roman fortress "castrum linticlar" in Entiklar. This Lagrein Riserva is produced from 7 to 10 year old vines planted on chalky soils with southern exposure.

Acclaim
Opaque purplish-ruby. Sultry aromas of smoky wood ember combined with black fruits and spices. Plush flavors of blackberry, blueberry, and bittersweet chocolate fill the mouth, with complicating notes of cinnamon and nutmeg...
