Tramin Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC bottle image

Wine Description

This is a richly styled Pinot Grigio produced from low-yielding vineyards in the Alto Adige DOC. The vineyards, located at the foothills of the Dolomite mountains, enjoy warm days and cool nights.  These conditions preserve the wine’s acidity and freshness and produce a well-balanced wine with great length on the finish.

Acclaim
The 2009 Pinot Grigio comes across as rather lean, focused and energetic. This isn't an easygoing Pinot Grigio, but rather a wine built on a core of serious minerality. Crushed rocks, lime and mint linger on the precise, crystalline finish.
— Wine Advocate, Aug 2010
Packaged in an easy screw-cap bottle, this fresh Italian Pinot Grigio would work beautifully with fried calamari or zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella. The wine is compact and lean with tones of stone fruit and citrus.
