Acclaim
“It says Bonarda on the label, but this includes 15% Cabernet Franc, a grape that Alejandro Vigil handles as well as anyone. Aged in old foudres, it’s all about fruit rather than oak, with lots of colour, bramble, tobacco pouch and pepper spice flavours and a green, leafy top note. Stylish stuff.”
— Tim Atkin, MW, May 2018
“A tight and focused Bonardo this year with a mineral and dark berry character. Some fresh lemongrass also. Medium body, light tannins and a precise and energetic finish.”
— James Suckling, Mar 2018
