“The Prager 2010 Riesling Federspiel Steinriegl displays tart apple fruit withchewy fruit skin and piquant herbal impingements that suggest considerably less ripeness than exhibited by Bodenstein’s Grüner Veltliner of the vintage. But there is certainly sap, energy, and extract even if not much charm. Lemon-zesty, chalky notes add invigoration to a brightly juicy if tart, piquant finish.”
