Dalrymple Coal River Valley Pinot Noir

Dalrymple Coal River Valley Pinot Noir

Wine Description

Magic happens when the right elements collide and in this case, Coal River Valley’s plentiful sunshine, low rainfall and drying winds result in bright blue fruit flavors, soft tannins, and bright acidity. This Pinot Noir is like a well-tailored suit that fits in all the right places. Take a bow, Mother Nature.

Acclaim
“There is a lovely meaty edge to this year's Coal River Valley release. The fruits lie in the blueberry and red cherry spectrum with plenty of underlying exotic spice, poached rhubarb, pomegranate, amaro herbs, citrus blossom and a whiff of game. But it's that meaty, umami stuff on the palate that grabs you, swelling at first, some sour cherry sweeping in, tannins silty fine and a lacy mineral acid presence provides the pulse. Lovely.” — James Halliday, Aug 2024
