Tons de Duorum White bottle image

Wine Description

Tons, which translates to mean "tones," de Duorum is inspired by the bright colors that result from the reflection of the sun on the Duoro River, which creates different tones in the vineyards.  This wine expresses the terroir of the Douro Region, the result of a unique interaction between nature and human effort.

Acclaim
“A blend of Douro white grapes produces a wine that is ripe and fruity. It has apricot and warm yellow plum flavors that are lifted by acidity and a tight texture. It is ready to drink but will be better from the end of 2016.” - Best Buy

“The 2015 Branco Tons is an unoaked blend of 30% Viosinho, 25% Rabigato, 20% each of Verdelho and Arinto and a dollop of Moscatel Galego for the rest. It comes in at 12.5% alcohol. This is an impressive Branco Tons, a nice value in this fine vintage. Rather solid for this price level, it is fresh and shows ripe, tasty fruit on the end that is well supported by its acidity. This Branco is in very fine form this year. There is just a hint of metal on the finish as well. This is probably the best I've seen in this brand.”
