High Note Malbec

High Note Malbec

Wine Description

High Note is inspired by the passion and energy of its Argentine roots. It honors the music that represents Argentina’s vibrant and lively culture.

Intense sunlight, cool temperatures, and dry conditions high in the Andes foothills create the brilliant violet color, rich blackberry and black cherry aromas, and velvety texture of the High Note Uco Valley Malbec.

Wine Production

Tronco-conical tanks are designed to improve maceration. The fermentation cap remains mostly submerged, allowing excellent extraction of polyphenolic compounds. This process produces wines with good concentration and velvety texture.

The wines mature for six to nine months in a combination of French and American oak prior to bottling.

About the Vineyard

High Note’s state-of-the-art winery is located in the Andean foothills. Its vineyards are among the highest in the world, ranging from 3,300 to 5,000 feet in altitude.

High Note’s wines come from five carefully selected vineyards that reflect the Uco Valley’s high-altitude terroir. Intense desert sunlight, cool nighttime temperatures, an extended growing season, and dry sandy soils provide the fruit with concentrated flavors and luxurious tannins.
