Located in southern Burgundy, the Mâconnais region spans from Tournus to the southern edge of the Saône-et-Loire department. Its 3,500 hectares of vineyards specialize in white wines: Mâcon-Villages, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, and Pouilly-Vinzelles.

Wine Production

The grapes are pressed gently and slowly in pneumatic presses, then the must is settled at low temperature. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats with selcted yeast to preserve the freshness and natural fruitiness of the grapes.

About the Vineyard

The geographical area covers the whole of the Mâcon arrondissement, but there are 43 communes where a specific demarcation defines the Mâcon-Villages appellations.
