Acclaim
A new addition to this range is the 2022 Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Franc, which features 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. It opens with a black-fruited and herbal nose, accented by a hint of new leather and deftly integrated creamy oak. Its texture embodies the quintessential Lapostolle style with velvety, slow-moving, seamless richness, concluding in a long, layered finish highlighted by perfumed lift and fine-grained tannins. — Wine Advocate, Mar 2025
“The 2022 Cabernet Franc Cuvée Alexandre, sourced from Apalta, displays a purple hue. Aromas of ash, sour cherry, cassis and a faint hint of green bell pepper emanate from the glass. Indulgent and grippy, the fairly concentrated palate leads to a richly extracted mouthfeel. This is a savory, ripe red.” — Vinous, Jul 2024
