There are plump aromas of black cherry and prune with cola and moist chewing tobacco. The effect is simple, but also very succulent. I am surprised, however, by the rich color and density achieved in this otherwise lean and watery vintage.”

The 2014 Chianti Classico is bold, super-ripe and racy to the core. Black cherry, plum, spice and mint all race across the palate. This is an unusually concentrated wine for the year.
