Rocca di Frassinello Poggio alla Guardia

Rocca di Frassinello Poggio alla Guardia

Wine Description

Poggio alla Guardia a benchmark wine, the third label released, from the great project of Rocca di Frassinello. But a wine with a very marked personality: spicy but very easy to drink. This wine is a wonderful introduction to the winery's other labels of great aged wines.

Acclaim
“Ripe dark and blue fruit, blue flowers, candied orange peel and spices on the nose. Medium-to full-bodied, smooth and succulent, slightly jammy but well-formed and focused, with a seamless tannin structure.” — James Suckling, Aug 2024
