Acclaim
“The 2014 Arinto (unoaked) seems a bit delicate at times in the mid-palate, but that belies its general demeanor. Crisp and refined, it shows considerable tension on the finish, viscosity and a rather respectable finish. Still young and unevolved, this might well be better at the end of the year, or next spring. The winemakers say that vintages like 2008 are still drinking well, so you can wait. This has room to grow, especially in a vintage with a nice, crisp feel. That said, I'd still rather drink it on the younger side once past a year or two, even granting that there's no rush. One thing is clear: at this price point, this is a super value in a fresh, lighter-styled wine.”

“The Arinto is a local grape as far as Lisboa is concerned, and this wine seems right at home here. Made from old vines, it is fresh, tangy and destined to be drunk young with locally-caught Atlantic Ocean fish. The wine has a pure, clean, perfumed aftertaste.” - Best Buy
