Acclaim
“I’ve been lucky enough to drink through numerous bottles of the 2007 Gigondas Hominis Fides and it’s been incredibly consistent for me. It’s certainly the greatest Gigondas I’ve ever tasted and possibly the greatest Gigondas ever made. Giving up a heavenly bouquet of garrigue, graphite, crushed rocks, licorice and assorted red and black fruits, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and a profound seamlessness that belies its richness and depth. It has sweet tannin and a wealth of fruit and will continue drinking beautifully for another two decades. Hats off to winemaker Louis Barruol for this incredible wine!”
