Palladio Chianti

Chianti DOCG bottle image

Wine Description

Palladio was the name of an architect from Venice who created many innovative designs during the Renaissance.  This modern twist on a classic is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 5% each of Merlot and Syrah that is vinified and matured entirely in stainless steel tanks.  This creates a fresh, easy-to-drink wine that can easily please friends and guests.

Acclaim
“The 2010 Chianti is gorgeous in this vintage. Dark cherries, plums, spices, mocha and licorice all jump from the glass in this juicy, approachable Chianti. In addition to 90% Sangiovese, the blend is composed of 5% Merlot and 5% Syrah without oak. This is an especially big, dark Chianti in its category.”
