Acclaim
Clean and focused, with typical gooseberry and herbaceous character. Medium-bodied, with good acidity keeping everything fresh. Tight and crisp.
— Wine Spectator, Aug 2009
The estate's 2008 Sauvignon is simply beautiful. Here the range of aromas and flavors tends towards mint, sage, tomato leaf and ripe, succulent peaches. This level of depth in Sauvignon is achieved only with fully ripe fruit, and I have to commend Tramin for such an exceptional wine in this price range.
